Bio-Alcamid is
a gel comprising
96% water and
4% synthetic polymer.
This blend guarantees
softness to the
touch; the implant
has a similar
consistency to
the surrounding
tissues without
causing unsightly
visible or palpable
effects of artificiality.
The effects of
this treatment
are permanent,
so unlike other
fillers repeat
visits can be
avoided. The gel
can however be
removed easily
should you so
desire.
USE
Ideal implant
for defining the
lip outline and
correcting volumetric
face deficits
of the cheekbones,
chin, jaw etc
ACTION
Immediately after
injection a thin
capsule is formed
around the gel.
This capsule isolates
the gel from the
surrounding tissues,
effectively making
Bio-Alcamid a
form of "endoprosthesis".
