Intense pulsed light systems are non-LASER, emitting light across a broad range of wave-lengths from orange to the Infra Red of the spectrum. The system filters the light emitted from the flashlamp so that the harmful shorter wavelengths, including UV, and the unusable longer wavelengths are removed.

The IPL system provides a software programme controlled delivery system that automatically delivers the safe parameters for each skin type and patient requirements.
